About Community Clothing

Community Clothing is a British clothing brand that makes everyday menswear, womenswear and kidswear, including t-shirts, jeans, knitwear, shirts, trainers, socks and underwear. All garments are manufactured in UK factories, with ranges often grouped by the region where they are produced, such as Scotland, Lancashire, the Midlands and the South. The brand positions itself around supporting British textile manufacturing and skilled jobs, offering what it describes as straightforward, long-lasting clothing rather than fast fashion.

The brand was founded by Patrick Grant, a designer known for his work with Savile Row tailoring and as a judge on a BBC sewing programme, after he bought a Blackburn clothing factory to prevent its closure. Community Clothing sells directly to customers through its own website, using a business model intended to keep prices lower than other UK-made premium brands by working closely with a network of domestic factories. It also runs occasional collaborations with other manufacturers and brands, such as footwear and accessories projects, alongside its core clothing ranges for men, women and children.
